About Leadership Team

Walt Czerminski's background is one of helping companies grow and establish stronger business capabilities. He retired from Brandes investment Partners in 2010 where he was the CTO for a period of twelve years. Prior to his role at Brandes he worked as a management consultant for thirteen years actively advising numerous Fortune 1000 companies on key initiatives and strategy. His consulting practice included clients such as 3M, GE Capital, Cargill, Motorola, Burlington Northern and Piper Jaffray and was sold to a national consultancy in 1995. Walt is an active investor in development stage companies. He participates as an angel investor, board member or partner in these ventures. He seeks to leverage his experience to help each company address tactical and strategic issues. Walt graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Economics and focus on Political Science. He completed his graduate work in Operations Research as he began his career.

 

Tony Tunison is an investor and has responsibility for technology and service delivery. Mr. Tunison has been an independent technology and operations consultant for a variety of businesses, and has more than 30 years of broad-based information technology experience. Tony spent 23 years at Merrill Lynch, directing large-scale firm-wide programs in enterprise content management, mutual fund straight-thru processing and international branch office desktop technology. Throughout Mr. Tunison's career he has built a reputation for architecting and synthesizing new technologies and applying them to create meaningful business value. Tony has years of experience in managing successful large-scale technology initiatives. He is a subject matter expert in the areas of records, document and content management and has been keenly involved in all business areas of technology leadership.

Jeremiah F. O'Leary is a retired executive of J. P. Morgan Chase (formerly Chemical Bank) where he held a number of senior management positions including as General Manager of Global Securities Services. He has extensive experience in the banking and securities industries, serving as Chairman of International Depository and Clearing Corporation and as a member of the board of directors of Government Securities Clearing Corporation. He has also served as a member of the United States Working Committee of the Group of Thirty and as chairman or member of numerous other banking and securities industry committees. Prior to this Mr. O'Leary was an associate with Price Waterhouse and currently serves on the board of directors of Guardian Trust Company and several other privately held companies.

Kamalesh Rao is an investor in Global Diversity and has helped with marketing, networking and business development operations. After spending more than 20 years in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry, Rao decided to broaden his expertise into different industry areas which directly impact helping people accomplish their professional goals. In his current role, he aspires to steer the company mainly towards online information of value engagement with visitors to our website while unifying them in promoting meaningful dialog, exchange of diversity and inclusion ideas, peer advice and facilitation of professional growth. Rao’s vision for Global Diversity is to position the company as a responsible and leading provider of online tools and services for employers seeking diversity and inclusion in their workplace and multicultural job seekers.

Simma Lieberman is internationally known as “The Inclusionist,” because she creates inclusive workplaces where people love to do their best work, and customers love to do business. She is unique in that she has the knowledge and experience to successfully drive culture change throughout the whole organization, and discover the hidden genius and diverse talents of all employees. Her clients include; Applied Materials, America Empresarial, Motorola, Diageo, ABM Industries, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, GE, Middle Tennessee State University, Monster, Renaissance Hotels, Pillsbury Bakeries and Foodservices, McDonalds, Kaiser Permanente, UC Berkeley, California State University in Hayward, National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education, Chevron, and the IRS. She was trained to facilitate dialogues amongst different racial and ethnic groups in order to reduce tension and create effective working relationships. Simma belongs to two national diversity and inclusion think tanks, DiCE (Diversity Community Exchange) and Diversity 2K. She a the former co-chair of the San Francisco Bay Area Regional Council of Out and Equal, and a former president of the Northern California Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Consulting. She is the co-author of “Putting Diversity to Work, how to successfully lead a diverse workforce,” and the recently published book “The Diversity Calling, building community one story at a time.” Simma is also the author of “Stress Management for the Motivated, a workbook for you.” Simma lives in Berkeley, CA with her teenage son and their dog Xion.

 

Lianne Mueller has been involved in marketing, creative direction, and education for more than ten years. After getting a masters degree in Educational Technology with an Emphasis in Visual Design, Lianne began her career as the Program Chair of Visual Design at the Center for Electronic Arts, where she re-vamped the curriculum, developed marketing programs and collateral for the school and clients such as NASA, the Gorilla foundation, and the Oakland Zoo. As Creative Director for Zing Network, Lianne developed and refined Zing’s brand, worked hand in hand with marketing and advertising campaigns, and managed a team of designers. Lianne moved on to become the Director of Education and Digital Graphic Design at Expression College of Digital Arts, where she worked with the staff to hire and train teachers, develop online curriculum, and create marketing collateral for clients such as Woody Harrelson, Sons of Champlin, and Ozomatli. Lianne then joined Fly Design Media as its Creative Director. Here, she worked with a wide variety of clients including Sun Microsystems, IBM, Stanford, Woodside Capital, and Red Herring. Currently, Lianne is the Creative Director for Global Diversity where she continues her work with clients from diverse industries.
